Aurora, producer of musical events and photographer from Madrid, suffers a crush of love with Tarifa and acquires the building on which this comprehensive reform is projected. “La guarida” project takes place within the “Barrio del Moral”, in the historical center of the town.

Details

It is initially a building with a practically rectangular volume and 3 dividing walls on 4 of its sides, so getting the maximum use of light and natural ventilation as well as fitting 6 apartments in 240 m2 built becomes a challenge.

The houses are articulated around an imposing communications nucleus formed by a staircase with a metallic structure and concrete steps created in situ, which surrounds a glass elevator, revealing the stone wall discovered during the work, and which is the protagonist of the arrival at the building, without detracting from the incredible patio on which the project sits.

The 6 apartments that make up the building are distributed at the rate of two per floor. Within each one of them, different designs and arrangements of the toilets, final finishes and color palettes are played, all of which are different.
