On Mayor Juan Núñez Street, in front of the port of Tarifa and with privileged marine views, stands one of the areas with the most gastronomic projection of the town.
1835 comes from the date that Charles Darwin arrived in the Galapagos and changed the theory of human evolution. The idea is to combine sustainability and nature in a cafeteria with coffee of origin, feeling it as a culture as wine is lived here, introducing, in addition to the tasting of different types of coffee with barista service, the own production and roasting of the bean, closing the local process circle.
All the decorative materials used in the cafeteria are reused, but in an artistic way (coffee bags, bicycle parts, old coffee machines), with special emphasis on the use of wood in the customer service area, furniture and rehabilitating the old wooden floor, which has been sanded and varnished, recovering its original color, and incorporating recovered hydraulic tiles and with a completely different tonality from the wooden floor to break with the aged aesthetics, and transitioning to the production area and kitchen.
